Chain Rule
If you have two derivable functions $g(x)$ and $u(x)$, then the derivative of their composition $f(x) = g(u(x))$ is given by the chain rule:
$$\frac{df}{dx} = \frac{dg}{du} \cdot \frac{du}{dx}$$
or
$$f’(x) = g’(u(x)) \cdot u’(x)$$
